Vivienne and Ricardo were married at the Mexican Heritage Museum in San Jose. That's their first wedding celebration. They took off soon after to Puerto Rico to have their 2nd celebration there. They also plan to live there. I have never been to a Puerto Rican wedding before but I can tell you that they are very colorful people with beautiful welcoming smiles and they are the best dancers I've seen. I can't wait to visit them in Puerto Rico. :)
It is the custom that she wore the 6 garters on the wedding day.

Amory
Oh man, I have so much to catch up on. But let's start with Amory. She contacted me for family photos. She thhought it will be ideal to have her pictures taken on the beach on sunset time. So off to Highway 1 we went, but as always you'll never know what kind of weather you get on the coast. After 45 minutes searching for a perfect location, we settled on the beach near Santa Cruz border. Although it was a bit windy, they managed to look very graceful despite the cold wind. Here are some of the pictures from that session. Oh, did I mention that her beautiful 2 year old son, Aden, is the most calmest boy I've met. Despite the chilling wind blowing in his face, he never once complained or fussed about anything. I think he is an old soul. :)

Matt and Crystal E Session
Matt and Crystal are of one the lucky G&Bs who planned their weddings a long time ago to lock in on the 07/07/07 date. I will be photographing their wedding in Santa Cruz. For their engagement pictures we started at their lovely house in the SC mountain.....
Then we drove along the coast to find another location and we settled on the Pigeon Point Lighthouse beach. The weather wasn't cooperative but these 2 lovebirds are real troopers. You can't reall tell from the pictures that cold wind was freezing our ears and fingers. Despite the cold wind, they managed to keep their smiles for the camera. Of course, there I was insisting on getting one more picture everytime we took a few steps. :)
I can't wait to take their wedding pictures.
