The Wedding took place on the beach at 4PM, it was beautiful and fun. The Weather completely cooperated, considering it was raining hard the day before. And you know how the Asian rain like, they are just like small bullets hitting your face. :)
After the Wedding, they have the reception on the beach with great selections of Thai food. Just before the first dance, Dion and Rachel surprise everyone with the Fireworks display. That was great.
I have been to many places in Asia, but I haven't been to Thailand before. So it was so exciting to be there. The food, the people, the beaches .... everything are so nice. We stayed at Anantara Resort, a beautiful resort on the beachfront. The service at the Hotel were just amazing. When the hotel staffs see you, they always stop with whatever are currently doing and greet you with the Thai's greeting: Sawadi-Ka (in US spelling :). It makes you feel so welcomed. Of course, you have to learn a couple of words to greet them back, like Thank you: Kub Kon Kap. Another useful word to learn is, of course, Thai Massage. Also, please give me something not Thai Spicy but US Spicy. :)

Stunning photos from Dion and Rachel's Wedding!! That backdrop is looking adorable. The idea of that chic DIY backdrop is so good. I also would be having a unique and fun DIY wedding party and have started working on the planning process. Just booked one of the beachside Chicago event venues for that.
